A studio visit with designer Martin Pyper

A visit to the Amsterdam studio of designer Martin Pyper. Great times were had, sandwiches were eaten and he didn’t push me into the canal as originally promised so that’s a win.

This was the first time we’d met in person. We’d previously tried to meet up a few times but always ran out of time (at least that’s what he claims). I also had a nice wander around Amsterdam and dropped into the Athenaeum Boekhandel bookshop to bag some goodies on the way to the studio.

He’s always pleased to see me.

He talks to these two when he thinks he’s on his own - I’ve him do it.

He gave me this nice present. I can’t quite read what the text says but I imagine it’s something really creative and cool.
